Meet the Staff

Margaret Kelly

Executive Director of Community Projects

Margaret oversees the university’s special events and directs official events, such as Commencement, the annual fall Convocation, inaugurations and public lectures. She facilitates numerous other campus events each year, planning, organizing and coordinating projects that range from publishing campus brochures to the Opening Luncheon for almost 1,600 faculty and staff. Margaret also is responsible for finding and implementing new ways for the university to connect with and assist the Fort Worth community.

She serves on several community boards on behalf of the university, including the Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau’s Board of Directors and The Kupferle Health Board of the Harris Methodist Health Foundation.In 2007, she was recognized with the Chancellor’s Staff Award for Outstanding Service. Prior to joining TCU, she was the manager of marketing communications and coordinator of community events for Mrs. Baird’s Bakeries Margaret received her degree from University of Maryland–Munich in Germany and attended Oxford and County College in Oxford, England.
