Meet the Staff

Victor NeilVictor Neil

Director of Website Management

Victor oversees TCU’s day-to-day presence on the World Wide Web. This includes the University’s main homepage, www.tcu.edu, as well as other highly visible institutional Web pages. He co-chaired a University task force to develop a five-year plan for University new media efforts, including intra/extranet as well as interactive media initiatives. He is a member of TCU’s Marketing Task Force, Technology Steering Committee, Computing and Telecommunications Committee and is also a past presenter for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. Under his leadership TCU Web sites have won several awards including a CASE Special, Gold and Bronze Awards.

A graduate of TCU, Victor holds a degree in Advertising/Public Relations as well as a degree in Data Processing. He started his TCU career as a Communications Specialist in the Office of Communications. Victor is a recipient of the YMCA Minority Achiever Award and is actively involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Harris Methodist Health Exchange.

Elaine TubreElaine Tubre

Assistant Director of Website Management

Elaine holds a master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction from DePaul University and a bachelor's degree in International Studies from St. Edward's University. With an educational background focusing on computer science, graphic arts and psychology, she began her technical career as a Web page designer at Anexsys in Chicago, an IT solutions company servicing government agencies. Elaine then moved to Texas to make Web pages for RadioShack. Some of Elaine's projects include Harris College, the School for Classical & Contemporary Dance, the Schieffer School of Journalism and the Youth Alliance at TCU. Elaine was also a key member responsible for implementing the enterprise Web content management solution, RedDot.

Amy PetersonAmy Peterson

New Media Designer

Amy came to TCU in the summer of 2008 after working as a photojournalist at various newspapers including the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Tyler Morning News and Amarillo Globe News. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in photojournalism.

Jenny ZarateJenny Zarate

Web Designer

Jenny came to TCU in the Summer of 2008 after working for a design agency out of state, via her Ft. Worth home, as the Texas branch. After receiving a BFA in Graphic Design from Baylor University, she went back to Baylor and worked on print campaigns for the Office of Development.

She was later introduced to web design by creating email campaigns while working for RadioShack.
